Roger A. Adams, DVM
Dr. Adams is a graduate of Auburn University having earned a BS in Animal and Dairy Sciences in 1984 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. Following graduation, he began practicing in North Alabama. In 1991, he opened Sand Mountain Small Animal/Equine Hospital in Boaz, Alabama. Since opening, the business has grown annually. The hospital offers some of the latest technology available. It is equipped with a digital radiograph, ultrasound, endoscopy, and 2 complete laboratories. The hospital continues to provide medical and surgical care for dogs, cats, goats, horses, and the occasional exotic pet.
Dr. Adams now has 3 granddaughters, Anna Claire, Leia Hope, and Amelia Jane, who he loves spending time with. He has been married to Deborah Adams for more than 40 years. He is a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church Boaz and was a founding member of the Boaz City Schools Board of Education. His past-time activities include mostly golf and yard work. He is dedicated to helping you with your pets' needs.
