Parker Adams, DVM
Dr. Parker Adams is a dedicated veterinarian, a native of Boaz, Alabama, and graduate of Boaz High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Huntingdon College where he also played NCAA baseball for four years. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. Georges University College of Veterinary Medicine spending three years on the Caribbean island of Grenada while completing his Veterinary school curriculum. This was followed by one year of clinical training at LSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.
Dr. Parker has been serving our community as an associate Veterinarian since 2019, and as of 2025 he has been working in a relief role at Gadsden Veterinary Associates and Emergency Care. Dr. Parker is passionate about delivering high quality and affordable patient care, with special interests in soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and cancer care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Parker enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife, Sarah Adams, an occupational therapist at Alabama Pediatric Therapy Services. He and his wife welcomed their first child, Amelia Adams in April 2026. His home is filled with animals, including two Golden Retrievers, Ace and Tucker, as well as two cats, Pip and Penny. Ace and Tucker accompany him to the clinic each day and are beloved by our team and clients.
