She is married to Jason Smith, and they live on a farm in Snead. They have two sons, Ethan, 16, and Trevor, four and a half. Their farm consists of three poultry houses, cows, horses, and dogs. Amy has a special love for the Boxer breed, but her sidekick is her Blue heeler, Gerti, whom she adopted from the clinic five years ago.
